Skipsea Methodist Church warmly invites you to join them at the Village Hall to encourage you to start Talking of God.
Talking of God is a faith sharing course that is open to anyone of any denomination or background. It is designed to help individuals and congregations to talk about their faith journey.
Written by a group of evangelism and mission experts from across the country, the course will give people more confidence when it comes to sharing the stories of their faith in everyday life.
Talking of God does this by encouraging conversations about conversations, and rooting it all in the Gospels. This is not a course for theologians or experts, it’s a structured, fun and enjoyable format for meeting, chatting and exploring your faith in a relaxed atmosphere with people like you.
“We have so many opportunities to talk about how Jesus continues to transform our lives,” said Methodist Evangelism in Contemporary Culture Officer Joanne Cox. “This resource is an exciting development in helping each of us to talk of God wherever we are.”
There is no charge for this course and we even share a cup of tea and a biscuit (if we’re lucky!) during each session. There’s no need to book a place, just turn up and start Talking of God!
